City Series

I work on the contemporary de-identification of changing and transforming cities through
historical plans. This series aims to take you on a mental journey about the loss with the connotation reflected from a place and object that no longer exists. The works involve solid structures, like a rock, placed on historical urban maps from 15th to 18th centuries. These solid structures represent the regions, the Anatolian landscape with a strong urban memory. The series aim to incite the memories of the individual through the feelings of loss and stability.
